Beauty and the Brand: NARS Previous Video Adverts

After looking through the NARS picture advert campaigns, I decided to look through some of their videos that go with the picture behind it. Until we started this unit, I didn't know that make-up brands and companies linked a video to each of their new collections of season collections. So looking through all these really interested me. I found these videos on NARS Cosmetics Youtube page.

The first video is title 'NARS Pure Matte: Infinite Reflections'. This video is promoting their new pure matte lipsticks, however, you don't find this out till the end of the video. This advert is from 2010.

The next video that I liked was the 'NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner Film'. This is a little different to what I was expecting to see. For this advert campaign, they made it look like a woman was going into surgery. I really like this video advert because it's so different and unusual! This advert is from 2011.

This video is for the 'Orgasm Collection', dated back to 2012. Like the other two previous video adverts, you don't see the product till the end. This video is very sexualised compared to the other two, however, the collection itself is called Orgasm Collection. So once you realise that, you have a clearly understanding behind it.
