For the first catwalk look, I wanted to create a strong full face of make-up, taking inspiration and variations of the make-up from other designers and make-up artists, along with older catwalk looks Francois has done himself. The second part of the photoshoot went with a completely different make-up look. For this I took a lot of inspiration from the 2014 Marc Jacobs catwalk show, titles no make-up. Obviously to achieve the flawless, no make-up look, it requires a bit of make-up. I believe I achieved this look well on my model can her face does look bare but also flawless at the same time.
Here are the images from the shoot I created for my catwalk look:
The background I created for this photoshoot was done using gel lighting. For the first shoot, I used a beige background sheet, and placed a light behind my model facing the wall. I used a green sheet of plastic to create the colour that appears on the background. I used the green colour to give the shoot a bit of life, I also used it to match the colour of the outfit. I think they work really well together. The second photoshoot, I used a black background, with just a light facing the wall behind my model. I decided not to use gel lighting for this shoot because I loved the way the normal lighting out light up the black and make my model glow.
Overall, I'm so happy with how these images came out. The make-up is just how I wanted, the outfit works very well with both looks, and I really love the backgrounds that I created using gel lighting. I don't think this could of come out any better for myself.
