Equipment;
- Paddle brush
- Hair dryer
- Comb
- Different sized round ceramic brushes
- Pin tail comb
- Heat protection
- Mousse
- Sea Salt spray
Method;
- You need to make sure that the hair is about 80% dry, before you start to get brushes involved for the volume. Make sure to use a comb, as wet hair can snap when brushes with large brushes
- Apply heat protection over the head
- Apply a small amount of mousse to the ends of the hair and slightly go up the hair towards the roots
- Apply sea salt to the mid length to ends of the hair
- If someone has a full fringe, make sure the dry that completely and start with that as you don't want to mess it up
- Part the hair to the models normal position with the pin tail comb
- Start from the bottom and work your way up
- Section off a small triangular section of hair that will fit with your brush. Use a round ceramic brush
- Pull the hair up high against the head with the hair brush, and apply heat while rolling the brush around. This gets the height thats needed
- Make sure that the hair is 100% dry before moving on to another section
- When you think you've dried to completely, roll the hair up in the brush, like a curling tong. Leave for a few seconds while still applying heat to the hair. Then unravel the hair, again like a normal curling tong
- Maybe place a grip in the bottom of the hair to keep the curl in whilst finish off the rest of the head
Blow Dry - Straight Dry
